Repairing a tweeter is very easy as long as the winding is okay. I tested the winding with my analog multimeter and is okay. Only soldering the broken connection is required.
I bought a tweeter horned before and the salesgirl told me that this tweeter is disposable and if it gets busted, there's no way you can repair it. Once it gets busted, I told to my self. What if I'm going to dig inside it since it is mine and it is useless. This tweeter is tightly sealed with glue and it is a little bit hard to open. So I used a knife to pry it. Do you know what I see inside? It's just the same problem like I posted above. Broken connection. So I said to myself, as long as you can go inside and see what is wrong still you can repair it.
Thanks, I hope you like this post.
