Hello there...I am here to share to you how I made my homemade audio video RCA jack connector from scrap. In our house, we have two DVD players in which one has a USB port and the other none or simply using DVD disc. I kept on switching the RCA connector from the other player and vice versa if I will use either USB flash drive or DVD disc. I said to myself, what if I will make an RCA connector so I won't keep on changing the RCA cable back and forth.
What I did is I look for a plastic enclosure, six way RCA jack, three way RCA jack and some screws.
I measured and made a hole on both sides of the plastic.
I used a round file to trim the edge of the hole to fit it into the plastic box.
I inserted the RCA jack and put some screws on it.
I cut off the wire of the three way RCA jack and soldered it to the six way RCA jack. Be sure to connect from ground to ground of the RCA. Just like the picture below.
